At our Newbold location, we will not be taking ID as standard. Instead, we operate a secure pre-authorisation system similar to that used by hotels.
This requires all customers to present a valid credit card upon collection of their bike.
A pre-authorised deposit will be held on the card during the hire period, varying by bike type as follows:
Electric Full Suspension MTB – £1,000
Full Suspension MTB – £500
Hardtail MTB – £200
Kids’ Bikes – £200
All prices are per bike. No funds are taken unless damage or loss occurs.
Please ensure you bring a credit card with you to complete the pre-authorisation process.
Safety First
All hires include a helmet, which is compulsory for every rider. If you prefer to use your own helmet, you are welcome to do so.

Bronze - £60 - Basic safety check covering frame, brakes, gears, tyres and wheels. Drivetrain lubricated and adjusted. Ideal for occasional riders needing a general tune-up.

Silver- £110 - Full safety check with on-bike drivetrain clean, gear and brake adjustments, minor wheel truing, and inspection of bottom bracket, headset, and cockpit.

Gold- £160 - Deep clean and full drivetrain removal, degrease and refit. Brake and gear systems fine-tuned, wheels trued, hubs serviced, and headset, bottom bracket and suspension inspected.

Platinum- £240 - Complete strip-down and rebuild, including full suspension service, drivetrain overhaul, brake bleeding, hub service, and deep clean of every component. The ultimate service for high-performance bikes or full restoration.
